The Blog

I started this blog because I’ve found that people look at me in rank disbelief when I tell them I’ve decided to make bread/cereal/yoghurt from scratch, and who say to me ‘but really, I think that’s the sort of thing that’s better when you buy it’. I disagree. This blog is dedicated to making things from scratch, things that one buys automatically without thinking about making. It’s not like I make these things all the time, but I’ve found them so much more delicious, and comparatively easy, that I think everyone should come to think of making things from scratch as an eminently possible and sensible option in the kitchen.
